As co-owner of Great West Radon, Jordan has been at the forefront of Radon awareness and mitigation since 2017. With certifications in Radon measurement, mitigation, and new home Radon system installations, his experience extends to advanced tools like thermography. Jordan is an active member of both the Canadian National Radon Proficiency Program (C-NRPP) and the Canadian Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (CARST), and has personally overseen the installation of thousands of systems across Alberta. His leadership in expanding into Edmonton reflects his dedication to protecting families across the province. Known for his professionalism and hands-on approach, Jordan is passionate about creating healthier homes and workplaces in every community he serves.

Gary Smith
MITIGATION & TESTING PROFESSIONAL

Gary leads the Edmonton operations with a wealth of hands-on experience and a proven record of success. As a C-NRPP certified measurement and mitigation professional, he has completed hundreds of mitigation projects, each one reflecting his meticulous attention to detail. His background in health services makes him especially focused on ensuring safety during every stage of an installation. Known for his approachable and positive demeanor, Gary is trusted by both clients and colleagues, making him a cornerstone of our Edmonton team.

Renell Leggett
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Renell is often the first point of contact for Edmonton clients, helping families navigate the Radon testing and mitigation process with ease. With a professional background in property management, she understands the importance of communication and organization. Renell coordinates bookings, manages documentation, and provides day-to-day support to keep projects running smoothly. Her cheerful approach ensures that clients feel supported from start to finish.

Dorothy Bewernick

Dorothy Bewernick co-owns Great West Radon alongside her husband, Jordan, and plays a central role in the company’s operations in Edmonton and surrounding communities. Certified in Radon Measurement and an active member of both the Canadian National Radon Proficiency Program (C-NRPP) and the Canadian Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (CARST), Dorothy also serves on the CARST Board of Directors. She is deeply committed to shaping Radon policy in Canada through her involvement in the Radon Federal Advocacy Advisory Committee and advocacy initiatives with Alberta Lung. Her background in communications and education allows her to connect with families, health organizations, and policy makers in meaningful ways. Beyond testing, Dorothy leads many of the company’s outreach initiatives, building awareness and helping Albertans understand the long-term health impact of Radon. Her mission is simple: empower families to take action and protect their loved ones.

Jayce plays an essential role in supporting our Edmonton mitigation projects. With skills developed through electrical work, roofing, and facility maintenance, he brings technical versatility and problem-solving ability to every job. Working closely alongside Gary, Jayce ensures that every system is installed with precision and care. His strong work ethic and upbeat personality make him a reliable partner for both the team and our clients.

Amber Yoingco
OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR
Amber has more than 15 years of experience in operations and virtual administration, making her an invaluable part of the team. She focuses on streamlining systems and improving efficiency so our team can stay focused on helping families. Since rejoining Great West Radon in 2021, Amber has applied her skills in technology and process improvement to keep the company moving forward. Her ability to optimize operations directly enhances the quality of service clients receive.
Gladie Estrada
VIRTUAL ADMINISTRATOR
Gladie’s creativity and technical skills bring an extra layer of support to Great West Radon. She contributes through graphic design, social media, video editing, and data management, ensuring the company’s message of Radon awareness reaches as many people as possible.
